After taking a short break, Sunil Narine has fully recovered and is ready to face Mumbai this Monday, March 31, 2025. 

‘Sunil is 100% fit. He has definitely recovered well and he's been practising since yesterday, Kolkata head coach Chandrakant Pandit stated. ‘Today he is practising as well so he is absolutely fine at the moment,�he added. 

Narine was reportedly unwell in the morning before their match against Rajasthan. The player needed medical attention and had to return to the team hotel in the evening to rest.

This urged Kolkata to replace the player with Moeen Ali for an unexpected debut game. Kolkata won that match, and Ali received praise. ‘I've been practising well, and I just try to be ready all the time,�Ali said in an interview about his experience.
