The South Africa Women vs England Women ODI 2024 series will start in Kimberley, South Africa on Wednesday, December 4.

As per the South Africa Women vs England Women ODI 2024 schedule, the first game of the series will be played at the Diamond Oval in Kimberley.

The two teams will later travel to Durban for the second ODI scheduled to be held at the Kingsmead Cricket Ground on December 8.

On the other hand, the South Africa women's national cricket team will aim to bounce back after their disappointing performance in the T20I series.

Star all-rounder Marizanne Kapp and pacer Ayabonga Khaka will return for the ODI series after being rested in the T20I series.

The hosts though will miss the services of all-rounder Seshnie Naidu due to her school exams.

The England Women's tour of Ireland ODI series 2024 is scheduled from Saturday, September 7 to Wednesday, September 11.

This three-match ODI series is part of the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship 2022/23-2025.

According to the schedule, all three matches will be played over a span of five days at the Stormont Cricket Ground in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In the recently concluded Sri Lanka Women’s tour of Ireland in 2024, Ireland Women made history by winning the series 2-1, marking their first victories in the championship.

England Women, meanwhile, head into the series ranked second in the championship standings.

Before the start of the ODI series, Una Raymond-Hoey is set to return to the Irish squad after suffering an injury during a T20I against Sri Lanka Women in August.

While Raymond-Hoey returns, Ireland will be without Laura Delany, who is sidelined with an injury. Gaby Lewis will continue as captain in her place.

England Women will be led by Kate Cross and while they prepare to face a confident Irish team, the English are also gearing up for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 later this year.

The England women's national cricket team will host New Zealand in a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series starting on Wednesday, June 26.

As per the England Women vs New Zealand Women ODI 2024 schedule, the first game of the series will be played at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street, County Durham.

Both sides will later travel to Worcester to play the second ODI at the New Road Cricket Ground on Saturday, June 29.

During a Women's Quadrangular Series encounter, the Mithali Raj-led side posted their first 350-plus score to register India Women’s highest score in ODI cricket history.

Between 2017 and 2024, the India women's cricket team has posted five 300-plus totals in ODI cricket.

Meanwhile, New Zealand holds the record for the highest score in women’s ODI cricket history.

Led by captain Suzie Bates, New Zealand Women scored 491/4 in their 50 overs against Ireland Women in the first ODI of a three-match series in June 2018.

The India Women’s second-highest score in ODI cricket came against England Women in Canterbury in September 2022. During the second ODI of India Women’s tour of England, captain Harmanpreet Kaur slammed an unbeaten 143 along with contributions from Harleen Deol (58) and Smriti Mandhana (40) to post a mammoth score of 333/5 in their 50 overs. In reply, England Women were bundled out for 245 in 44.2 overs as the visitors won the ODI by 88 runs.

The India Women’s third-highest score in ODI cricket was recorded against South Africa in Bengaluru in June 2024. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led hosts posted 325/3 in their 50 overs in the second ODI of a three-match series at the iconic M Chinnaswamy Stadium. India rode on opener Smriti Mandhana’s 136 off 120 balls and Harmanpreet’s unbeaten 88-ball 103 to post a huge total on the board.

The England Women vs Pakistan Women ODI 2024 series will start in Derby, England on Thursday, May 23.

The upcoming three-match ODI series is a part of the ongoing ICC Women's Championship 2022-25. 

With nine wins in 15 matches, England Women are currently placed third in the ICC Women's Championship 2022-25 standings with 19 points.

Pakistan Women, on the other hand, have registered eight wins and suffered 13 defeats. They are placed fifth in the standings with 16 points from 21 games. The top five will directly qualify for the 2025 ODI World Cup to be held in India.

The England Women vs Pakistan Women T20 2024 series will start in Birmingham on Saturday, May 11.

The upcoming three-match T20I series will provide both the sides to prepare themselves ahead of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 in Bangladesh in October.

After the opening T20I at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground, England Women and Pakistan Women will travel to Northampton to play the second T20I at the County Ground scheduled on May 17.

The third and final T20I of the series will be played at the Headingley Cricket Ground on May 19.

The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 schedule was announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Sunday, May 5.

The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 will be the ninth edition of the tournament to be held in Bangladesh from October 3-20.

As many as 10 teams will compete for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.

Bangladesh have automatically qualified for the marquee T20 tournament being the hosts while the likes of Australia, England, India, South Africa, New Zealand and West Indies secured their berths based on their performance in the Women's T20 World Cup 2023.

Meanwhile, Pakistan qualified as the next highest ranked team while Scotland and Sri Lanka booked their slots via Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier.

As per the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 schedule, these participating teams have been divided into two groups of five teams each. 

A total of 23 matches will be played in the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup across 19 days in Dhaka and Sylhet, with reserve days in place for both semi-finals and the final should they be required.

Group A features arch-rivals India, Pakistan, New Zealand, defending champions Australia and either Sri Lanka or Scotland as Qualifier 1.

Hosts Bangladesh, South Africa, England, West Indies and yet-to-be-identified Qualifier 2 team (Sri Lanka/Scotland) are clubbed in Group B.

England will take on South Africa in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 opener in Dhaka on October 3.

The Indian’s women’s cricket team will begin their campaign against New Zealand in Sylhet on October 4.

The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 clash will be played in Sylhet on October 6.

India will take on Qualifier 1 in Sylhet on October 9 before playing their final Group A match against defending champions Australia on October 13.

Australia will start their Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Qualifier 1 on October 4.

As per the format, each team will play four group matches in the tournament before the top two sides advance to the semifinals, which will be held on October 17 and 18 ahead of the Women’s T20 World Cup final in Dhaka on October 20.

Australia beat South Africa by 19 runs in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 final in Cape Town to clinch their sixth title. They have won the Women’s T20 World Cup on six occasions in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2018, 2020 and 2023.

Apart from Australia, England won the Women’s T20 World Cup in 2009 while West Indies bagged the title in 2016.

Ranked second in the ICC women’s ODI team rankings, the visitors will once again be led by Heather Knight as they aim to continue their dominance over the Kiwis.

Right-arm pacer Kate Cross has been included in England Women’s ODI squad.

The likes of Nat Sciver-Brunt, Danni Wyatt, Tammy Beaumont, Alice Capsey, Charlie Dean, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, Sarah Glenn and Amy Jones are the other notable inclusions in the squad.

As per the schedule, the first ODI will be played at the Basin Reserve in Wellington while the second and third ODIs will be hosted at the Seddon Park in Hamilton.

The England Women's tour of New Zealand 2024 will kickstart with five T20Is followed by three ODIs. The first T20I will be played on March 19 at the University Oval, Dunedin. 

The last match of the T20I series will be played on March 29 at Basin Reserve, Wellington. 

As per the ICC Rankings for T20Is, England Women are in the second position while the Kiwis are ranked fourth. 

New Zealand Women and England Women have competed 30 times in the 20-over format. The English side has dominated with 23 wins which includes three victories from the last five encounters. 

The last time these two teams met for a T20 clash was during the Commonwealth Games Women's Cricket Competition 2022 in England. After a poor batting show by the home team, New Zealand Women won the match convincingly by eight wickets. 

As per the team’s recent clashes, New Zealand Women lost their latest T20 series versus Pakistan at home in December 2023. England Women, on the other hand, won their last 20-over series against India Women in an away tour. 

Speaking about the squads, the line-up for the White Ferns includes Sophie Devine, Amelia Kerr and Lea Tahuhu. However, their participation is not certain at least for the tournament opener due to the ongoing Indian T20 league. Pacer Rosemary Mair and all-rounder Brooke Halliday have made a comeback into the line-up. In the spin bowling department, Eden Carson is named for the first, second and third T20Is. Leigh Kasperek will replace her for the remainder of the series. 

The English team will be led by Heather Knight. However, England Women will miss Alice Capsey, Sophie Ecclestone, Natalie Sciver and Danielle Wyatt for the first three games due to the mega-event in India.

The India women's cricket team will square off against England Women in a one-off Test to be played at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai starting on Thursday, December 14.

India will host a women's Test match for the first time since November 2014. The hosts beat South Africa Women by an innings and 34 runs in their last Test at home in Mysore.

Interestingly, India Women have played only two Tests in nine years - against England at Bristol in 2021 and versus Australia at Carrara later that year. Both matches ended in a draw.

Led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur, India will look to bounce back after suffering a 1-2 defeat against England in the recently concluded three-match T20I series.

Left-arm spinner Saika Ishaque and Karnataka left-hander Shubha Satheesh are two new faces included in the Indian Test squad.

Apart from Shubha, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Harleen Deol, Sneh Rana and Meghna Singh will feature in the Test squad after their exclusion in the T20Is.

The likes of vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh, Renuka Thakur, Titas Sadhu and Pooja Vastrakar are also part of the Test squad.

On the other hand, the England women’s cricket team will be led by captain Heather Knight.

Ahead of the four-day Test match, England batting all-rounder Emma Lamb has withdrawn from the squad after suffering a back injury and will be returning home to consult with a spinal surgeon.

Middle-order batter Maia Bouchier and left-arm spinner Kirstie Gordon have been included to the England Test squad after Emma’s withdrawal.

Meanwhile, wicketkeeper-batter Bess Heath has received her maiden Test call-up.

Star left-arm spinner Sophie Ecclestone has also returned to the Test squad after recovering from her injury.

India Women hold a slight edge over England Women in Test cricket, winning two matches while England have registered just a solitary victory. As many as 11 of the 14 Tests played between these two nations have ended in draws.

The last time these two sides met, the match ended in a draw in Bristol in 2021.
