The last run came from a wide bowled by Mark Watt, giving Nepal a dramatic win and sparking wild cheers from their fans.

Scotland had strong scores from Charlie Tear (80) and Finlay McCreath (55). Nepal answered with Kushal Bhurtel’s 53, but their middle order fell apart, dropping to 192-7. Then came Karan KC, who scored 65 off 41 balls with four sixes.

In the final over, Nepal needed seven runs. Watt took a wicket on the first ball. But Karan stayed calm, hit two twos, and Watt bowled another wide. Nepal reached 297-9 in 49.5 overs.
